First Letter Home

Hello Everyone
We don't have a lot of time to email today because it's our first P-day but next week I'll have an hour.
The MTC here is amazing! The teachers are all so nice and they are so happy to help with Spanish. We haven't had any real Spanish classes yet but we've had lots of questions for them! haha! So just to help you get an idea of the MTC here; there are 60 missionaries here total- 23 sisters and 37 elders. And everyone except for two sisters got here on Tuesday! So to say the least it's pretty small! There are seven people in my district 5 sisters and two elders. My companion is super cute, she's from Pocatello Idaho, her name is Hermana Orr.  She is eager to learn the language and I can tell she's going to help me a lot. It's crazy to think I've only been here for two full days, because I left home 4 days ago! I'm slowly adjusting to the jet lag, today is a lot better than yesterday!
It is really hot here, every day we go out to the "Pit" (an outdoor sports court) for an hour and play either soccer, volleyball, basketball and it's crazy how sweaty you get when you play but it's still so nice to go outside. The temple is closed for cleaning for the next few weeks so that is a bummer :/ but it's still just beautiful to look at. It's crazy we are literally on the property of the temple and it's so amazing to see it out the window every morning. The mission president challenged us to read the entire book of Mormon before we left and it's already been amazing starting over and reading. I don't have much time but a cool story, when we were traveling here and had our layover in Paris there were about 30+ missionaries all at the Paris airport. We were in a more private area of the airport, there was probably only 10 people around us that weren't missionaries. But one of the sisters was having some bad back pain and she asked a few elders for and blessing, as soon as the blessing started you could feel the spirit so strongly, it was amazing. It made me realize that we are missionaries representing Jesus Christ!
I'm out of Time! I love you all!!
Love,

Hermana Bangerter is Spain Bound

Katie was set apart as a full time missionary on Sunday the 11th of June. Today we dropped her off and she was so excited to embark on her journey. She will arrive in the Spain MTC tomorrow on June 13th, so today is a long day of travel. We are so excited for her and couldn't be more proud of her!
