5:30 wake up call 11/6

November 6, 2017

Hi!!
All is fabulous over here! Just a little tired because we woke up at 5:30 this morning!!  We also had 6 Hermanas sleeping on 4 mattresses so it wasn't the greatest sleep of my life. I don't remember if I explained the sleeping situation at our apartment but we basically have 4 mattresses laid out on the floor because this apartment really isn't meant for 4 sisters. There were two Hermanas (sisters) having problems with their apartment so they ended up sleeping at our place last night. And to explain waking up at 5:30, we went to the place where they filmed the movie Cheetah Girls!!! It was worth waking up at 5:30 let me tell ya! (We had to wake up so early because if you get there before 8 it's free… lol)
Well, there were two great miracles that just happened yesterday. We got to church and there was an old Spaniard man there waiting for church to start! His name is Paco! We had never seen him before so we asked him how he found out about the church and it turns out a few elders talked to him on the bus a few months ago and they gave him a tarjeta (pamphlet) with the address of the church on it. Paco has been looking at a lot of churches for a while so he looked up the address online and came to church himself. After church, he was so eager to talk to us more and learn more about the church! We're meeting with him this week!
Another amazing miracle, on Wednesday we were out in the streets contacting and we found a man from Bolivia. He was extremely nice right off the bat, he said he has a family member that's part of the church, he didn't know a lot but he had lots of questions. So, we met with Oscar yesterday with a member and it was such an incredible lesson, the spirit was so strong and he said he'd love to come to church and read the Book of Mormon!!
This week I really learned about faith, Saturday was one of those days where everyone cancelled on us and it was rainy and cold and just not the happiest of days but my companion and I just didn't let it get to us, we kept working and laughing and we knew that after the trial of our faith there would be miracles and literally yesterday was FULL of miracles. Heavenly father is amazing.

Well I love you all.

Que tengáis una buena semana :)))

Sabadell is BOOMING 10/30

October 30, 2017

Hello Family and Friends,

We found 22 new investigators this week!!!!!!!!! SUCH A MIRACLE!!! I don't know about you but I'm feeling 22. Also!!! There are two recent converts in our ward, a mother and a son and his girlfriend just moved in with them and she's not a member!! She has been to church a few times now and we're going to meet with her on Wednesday!!! SO. MANY. MIRACLES. YAYAY

I know I say this a lot but this week was Absolutely Incredible!! Sabadell is BOOMING. We found so many incredible people!! And we have some great investigators, and we were able to get in contact with some menos activos (inactive members)!
ALSO, I finally ate payaya! It literally is sooo good!

Anyway, updates on Gustavo, he has definitely taught me a lot of patience. There have been multiple times that we have almost dropped him because he is very stubborn and it's been difficult to get him to read and pray. But, this Sunday he came to church again and told us that he has been reading and praying. We have also been talking a lot about baptism with him and he is slowly starting to open up.
We have an investigator named Francis, he's from Gambia and he has a Christian religion and wants to know about our church. He is amazing he is willing to read and to pray to know if this is what he needs to do. He also accepted a fecha (date) and is just so willing to do what he needs to do to know if this church is true.
A miracle story, this past Saturday we had a cita (appointment) with a man from Romania and we brought a member with us, but he cancelled on us. We were really excited to teach him so we were a little upset, but as we were walking back a man approached the member who was with us and this man is an inactive member that has been wanting to come back to church, he had seen us before but was too afraid to say something. So, when he saw the member that he knew, (it was actually the members dad that helped him gain a testimony of the church) he was willing to talk to us. So, we sat down on the bench right there and shared a message with him and the video we played for him "the hope of God's light" ended up being exactly what he needed to hear. It was just amazing looking back and seeing how the Lord’s hand was in all of it, how we were able to see him with that member because our appointment cancelled on us. And how the message was just what he needed to hear. I know that God is always guiding his missionaries and putting people in our path, it's truly incredible to see.
Also, it's starting to get freezing here!!! Lol only in the low 60s but it feels so cold, I'm so used to the heat now I don't know how I'm going to survive if it's in the 40s! Jk! I'll live don't worry.

LOVE YOU ALL!!

Que tengías una buena semana!! Hehe!!
