Hello
family and friends!!!!! This week and been pretty great, we saw some snow here
in barc! It was a glorious day. I'll send some pics. We had interviews
yesterday which is always so amazing, Hermana and President Dayton are
incredible people and I love every little minute I get to talk to them.
So an update on our investigator Anna, she's the 87 year old women we are teaching. :) She is incredible. We met with her twice in the past week and we went over the restoration with her and talked about the Holy Ghost. She has such a desire to know if this is the right way for her to take. She offered the most sincere prayer just pleading with Heavenly Father to help her know if this is the right way. We have been talking a lot about baptism with her and she at the moment won't accept a baptismal date because she wants to be 100% about her decision. She has come to church though and loves it, she says she sees something different about this church than the rest of the churches, which is pretty incredible. Also, she had read 60 pages in one week! She's amazing.
This week I was studying a little bit in the teachings of Gordon B. Hinckley ch. 3 and I would love to share a few quotes from this chapter that I loved
"Believe in yourself. Believe in your capacity to do great and good things. Believe that no mountain is so high that you cannot climb it. Believe that no storm is so great that you cannot weather it. … You are a child of God, of infinite capacity."
"We live in the fullness of times. Mark that phrase. Mark the word fullness. It denotes all of [the] good that has been gathered together [from] the past and restored to earth in this final dispensation."
"With gratitude in our hearts, let us not dwell upon the few problems we have. Let us rather count our blessings and in a great spirit of gratitude, motivated by a great faith, go forth to build the kingdom of God in the earth."
Espero que todos tengan una buena semana!
Les quiero!
